Are SWTP CEUs accepted in Illinois
Yes. The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) accepts continuing education from ASWB ACE–approved providers for LBSWs, LMSWs, and LCSWs. SWTP CEUs is provider #2486. Boards are the final authority on course acceptance.

Do you report my credits to the IDFPR?
No. Illinois social workers maintain their own CE records for renewal. SWTP CEUs retains records and can reissue certificates anytime on request.

When will I receive my certificate?
Immediately after you complete the course, pass the post-test, and submit a quick evaluation.
Accreditation
WTP CEUs (provider number 2486), is approved as an ACE provider to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program.
Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit.
ACE provider approval period: 10/24/2025 - 10/24/2026. Social workers completing this course receive 3.0 Clinical continuing education credits.
Program Details
POSTTEST REQUIREMENTS
A 20-question posttest follows the course materials. A passing score of 80% is required to receive CE credit. Retakes are available if the passing score is not met.
CERTIFICATES
To earn CE credit, participants must complete the full course, achieve a passing score of 80% on the posttest, and submit the course evaluation. Certificates of completion are issued automatically upon successful completion.
ASSIGNMENTS
No outside assignments are required.
